A design for a private garden in Oulu, Finland. The pergola was designed to create a place of enjoyment and play for the residents of the house as well as for the many visitors who come over the exceptionally beautiful Nordic summer months.

The design fits in with the architecture of the house in its use of colours, black, gray and red which are repeated in the timber, gravel flooring and red wires which are strung between the posts. A peaceful seat which takes advantage of the long summer light is designed for reading and relaxation. Completion summer 2007.
