Design for an urban block and a building for retired people in Kokkola, a town on the western coast of Finland. The first building to be built contains approximately 30 apartments for 50+ residents, who want to think ahead to their old age. The regeneration plans of the Pyhäjärvi town centre were prepared as part of a joint project organised by the University of Oulu and Pohjois Pohjanmaan Liitto (a regional planning body). The central focus of the plan was a new central square which connects the

An overgrown sea bay by a steel manufacturing plant in the northern parts of Finland is popular with a variety of migratory and native birds. A light designed for a staircase in a private house in Espoo, Finland. The light provides interesting views when approached either from above or below.
